Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a stunning remake of the original Yakuza 2, completely rebuilt from the ground up using the powerful "Dragon Engine." Kazuma Kiryu, the Dragon of Dojima, must return to the world of the yakuza when an assassination threatens to trigger an all-out war between the Tojo Clan of Tokyo and the Omi Alliance of Osaka. Kiryu travels to Sotenbori to broker peace, but he meets his match in Ryuji Goda, the legendary "Dragon of Kansai," who will stop at nothing to be the one and only dragon in Japan. This remake features a seamless open world, visceral physics-based combat, and an incredibly detailed recreation of both Kamurocho and Sotenbori, providing one of the most cinematic and immersive experiences in the entire series.
This edition is packed with additional content, including the "The Majima Saga", a brand-new playable scenario that reveals how Goro Majima left the Tojo Clan and bridges the gap between the first game and its sequel.
